When you open an account with HSBC you will be asked to provide evidence of your identity and confirmation of your address. HSBC Identify is a tool used to quickly and conveniently submit the required documents, using your mobile device. To use this service you must have been asked to do so by either a HSBC staff member or have been instructed as part of an online application. Please do not use this app unless you have been instructed to do so by HSBC.
During this journey you will use your mobile device to take a photo of your documentation and a photo of your face. We will then verify the information that you have submitted and respond to you within two business days.
